Hey!!
I'm putting a little trip/event/party together for New Year's weekend.
Let's go to Cutteback Dry Lake (2 1/2 hours from L.A.) on Thursday the 30th, build a weird, tall, free-form structure of some sort and burn it to the ground on Friday night. Bring tools, trucks full of scrap lumber, good and evil mementos of the year past, fireworks, cans of gas, your friends,
tents, warm clothes, musical instruments, drinks, eats, games,
gunpowder, and anything else you think might come in handy. It will
be cold so be prepared. Come on Thursday or come on Friday. I have to
leave on Saturday but you can stay all week if you like. It's the
desert and it's free. Write me back if you want to go and I'll send
you directions on how to get to the spot. If you already have other
plans or are just plain afraid of being chilly that's cool too. You
are not alone. I won't hold it against you. Personally I have a huge
pile of wood in my yard and a trunk full of 2004 demons to exorcise.
I want to start the year right with some big art and a hot fire and I
hope you'll join me. Whattya say?
Love, Jason

I can't get my house boy outta the house. He's agoraphobic. That's why he became a house boy... -
